Position Description:
Our client is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Finance Associate to join its Venture Debt & Growth Financing practice in Boston.

                                                                                                
This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading financial institutions, private credit funds, and growth-focused lenders on sophisticated financing transactions involving innovative and emerging companies.

                                                                             
Key Responsibilities

  • Represent banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in commercial finance transactions
  • Draft and negotiate:
    • Loan agreements
    • Security and collateral documents
    • Intercreditor agreements
    • Ancillary and closing documentation
  • Advise banks, private credit funds, and other institutional lenders in venture debt, growth financing, and other secured lending transactions across a broad range of industries.
  • Work closely with clients financing companies in high-growth sectors

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of finance experience, lender-side preferred.
  • Strong experience negotiating and documenting secured lending transactions, including venture debt, growth capital facilities, asset-based lending, warehouse lending, subscription facilities, or other commercial finance transactions.
  • Background representing banks, private credit funds, or other institutional lenders
  • Experience working with companies in the technology, life sciences, fintech, digital assets, or other innovation-focused sectors is highly preferred
  • Cross-border transaction experience is a plus
  • Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar
