Latham & Watkins has expanded its complex commercial litigation capabilities with the addition of Carson Young as a partner in its Houston office, the firm announced Monday.

Young joins from Kirkland & Ellis, bringing significant experience handling high-stakes commercial disputes, energy-related litigation, and complex business conflicts for corporate clients. His arrival is part of Latham & Watkins’ broader strategy to grow its litigation platform in key U.S. markets, particularly Houston, a major hub for energy, infrastructure, and commercial activity.
