McDermott and Schulte, With Merger Vote Within Months, Plan for Top NY Office
The leaders of Schulte Roth & Zabel and McDermott Will & Emery are aiming for a quick conclusion to their businesses’ proposed merger, stating that they anticipate a partnership vote for the combined firm in roughly 90 days.
According to them, the merger negotiations began eight to ten weeks ago. However, the company founders say they haven’t decided on a name for the combined law practice, and no vote is planned as of yet.
