James Saxton, founder of the Pennsylvania-based law firm Saxton & Stump, will step down as CEO at the end of 2025. Under his leadership, the firm grew from 14 to over 150 attorneys across 10 offices since 2015. A new CEO will take over in 2026, and Saxton will become chairman. In 2025, the firm plans to merge with a firm in York, Pennsylvania, and open a new office in Pittsburgh.
