Salesforce Breach Spawns 100 Lawsuits Naming Allianz, Christian Dior, Others

Nearly 100 lawsuits have been filed against Salesforce following a data breach affecting clients like Allianz Life Insurance, Christian Dior, Farmers Insurance, TransUnion, and Louis Vuitton. Lawyers are pushing to consolidate these cases in California’s Northern District. The breaches involved hackers accessing client information through Salesforce’s software, with plaintiffs claiming that the companies failed to protect sensitive data by not providing adequate cybersecurity training to employees.
