Seven Willkie Farr Partners Exit for Cooley After Trump Deal
Seven partners joined Cooley’s litigation department in San Francisco after leaving Willkie Farr & Gallagher, one of the nine firms that struck a deal with President Donald Trump.
Unlike Willkie, Jenner & Block has been successfully represented by Cooley attorneys like Michael Attanasio in their attempt to declare a Trump executive order unlawful.
According to a Cooley statement, the seven are Eduardo Santacana, Michael Rome, Tiffany Lin, Joshua Anderson, Ben Hur, Simona Agnolucci, and Jonathan Patchen. Hur and Agnolucci oversaw Willkie’s San Francisco office, and Agnolucci served on the executive committee of the company.
