Simpson Picks Up Partners From Cravath, Kirkland and White & Case in Lateral Spree

The firm announced on Tuesday that Jana Hymowitz, an executive compensation partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, had transferred to Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett. In the past week, the firm has added four new partners, including her. These appointments took place in four different cities and came from three other Big Law companies (as well as one investment business).

Simpson hired John Ilardo, a banking and credit partner from Kirkland & Ellis in Boston; Fern Han, a finance partner with expertise in project, energy, and infrastructure projects from White & Case in Houston; and Anat Holtzman, a private funds partner from global funds manager Carlyle in Washington, D.C., in addition to Hymowitz in New York. The announcement of all four partner hires was made during the past week.
