Among the firms that have hired the most government lawyers since December 1st of last year are Wilmer, Jenner, and Hecker Fink. According to Surepoint, between December 1, 2024, and early July, about 250 lawyers were transferred from the White House, SEC, FTC, and DOJ (Main Justice) to legal firms. So far this year, the D.C. and other job markets have been overrun with government lawyers.
