Otter.ai, an AI transcription service, is facing privacy concerns following a class-action lawsuit filed in August. The lawsuit claims the platform used recordings of private meetings for training its technology. As a result, law firms and clients are reevaluating their use of AI services. Attorneys recommend that to use AI transcription safely, firms must recognize the risks, maintain transparency, and ensure strong security measures are in place. This lawsuit has highlighted the privacy risks of AI transcription services.
