Position Description:
A well-established litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its New York office, supporting a busy casualty defense practice. This is a strong opportunity to gain hands-on experience across construction litigation, New York Labor Law, and premises liability matters, with direct involvement in all phases of litigation.

This role offers consistent exposure to court appearances, motion practice, and case strategy, making it ideal for an attorney looking to build and deepen litigation experience within a structured, high-volume practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice

• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and depositions

• Draft motions, briefs, and client reports

• Participate in mediations and settlement discussions

• Maintain consistent client communication and reporting

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of litigation experience

• Experience with construction, New York Labor Law, or premises liability preferred

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines

• Admission to the New York Bar is required; New Jersey admission is a plus
