Position Description:
A litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Nashville-based practice, supporting insurance coverage and bad faith matters. This is a strong opportunity to work on both coverage analysis and litigation, with direct involvement in case strategy, client reporting, and all phases of litigation.

This role offers hands-on experience drafting coverage opinions, managing litigation matters, and working closely with clients on complex insurance-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft insurance coverage opinions and analyze coverage issues

• Handle litigation involving insurance coverage and bad faith claims

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice

• Take depositions and appear in court proceedings

• Draft motions, briefs, and client reports

• Maintain consistent client communication and reporting

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of litigation experience

• Experience in insurance coverage or related practice areas preferred

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines

• Admission to the Tennessee Bar is required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $145,000 – $165,000
