Position Description:
A litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Nashville-based practice, supporting insurance coverage and bad faith matters. This is a strong opportunity to work on both coverage analysis and litigation, with direct involvement in case strategy, client reporting, and all phases of litigation.
This role offers hands-on experience drafting coverage opinions, managing litigation matters, and working closely with clients on complex insurance-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

Draft insurance coverage opinions and analyze coverage issues

Handle litigation involving insurance coverage and bad faith claims

Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice

Take depositions and appear in court proceedings

Draft motions, briefs, and client reports

Maintain consistent client communication and reporting
Qualifications

2–6 years of litigation experience

Experience in insurance coverage or related practice areas preferred

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines

Admission to the Tennessee Bar is required
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $145,000 – $165,000
