Position Description:
Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group, with a focus on energy regulatory and renewable energy work. This opportunity is based in Chicago.
Qualified candidates will have experience handling state regulatory proceedings, including traditional and non-traditional rate cases, investigations, rulemakings, and/or retail energy approvals and compliance. Experience with solar incentive programs, power purchase agreements, community solar contracting, and/or retail energy supply contracts is a plus.

Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus opportunities, paid time off, and comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, life, and disability coverage. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including market conditions, experience, education, and relevant skills. For attorneys based in Chicago, the anticipated salary range is approximately $190,000 to $280,000 annually.
