Position Description:
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a mid-level Structured Finance Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its Finance Group in Charlotte.

The ideal candidate will have significant law firm deal experience involving structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar financing structures and an interest in working on sophisticated transactions across diverse asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated, structured finance and related financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and support matters throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on complex financing transactions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• At least 4 years of structured finance or closely related transactional experience.
• Strong law firm deal experience involving structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures.
• Strong transactional, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a broad range of structured finance asset classes and transaction structures.
• Familiarity with esoteric assets and non-traditional securitization structures is highly desirable.
