Position Description:
Our client, an AM200 law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Phoenix office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney to join a sophisticated, collaborative practice handling a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.

The group represents a diverse client base that includes REITs, institutional investors and lenders, private equity investors, real estate developers, health systems, renewable energy companies, franchise businesses, and emerging companies. The Phoenix team is part of a larger national real estate practice, providing exposure to sophisticated transactions across markets and asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate documents involving commercial real estate transactions
• Handle acquisitions and dispositions
• Work on real estate development transactions
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases
• Manage due diligence throughout the transaction process
• Coordinate and manage real estate closings
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients on complex transactional matters

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, due diligence, and closings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative real estate practice
