Position Description:
Our client, a leading Am Law firm, is seeking a mid-level to senior Commercial Contracts & Technology Solutions Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Raleigh office. 

This role is ideal for a transactional attorney with substantial commercial contracting experience who is technologically savvy and interested in incorporating AI and emerging legal technologies into their practice. The position offers active mentorship, increasing responsibility, and meaningful client contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including manufacturing and supply, distribution, services, consulting, development and collaboration, reseller, and licensing agreements.
• Advise clients on sophisticated commercial and technology-related contractual matters.
• Leverage AI and legal technology tools to support efficient delivery of legal services.
• Assume increasing responsibility for matters and client relationships while collaborating with experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3-6 years of commercial contracts or related transactional experience.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using general AI tools and willingness to learn and leverage legal AI technologies.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad experience negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements across multiple industries.
