Position Description:
Our client is seeking multiple Associates at all levels for their growing insurance defense practice in Chicago.  This practice is focused on the defense of high exposure litigation, coverage, and appellate matters, including complex business and commercial litigation, construction, consumer financial services, first party-property, class action and mass tort, environmental litigation, aviation, transportation, hospitality, and marine and energy.

The ideal candidates are proactive, motivated, and organized, and possess strong academics and superior research and writing skills. Candidates must be barred in Illinois. 

Job Requirements:

• 2-7 years of relevant litigation experience
• Experience taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations
• Experience conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs
• Experience evaluating insurance policies and analyzing claims for potential coverage issues
• Experience investigating claims and preparing case strategies
