Our Company Story As Told By Our Owner
My name is Joseph P. Mayer III, and I am the founder of Permanent Placements. Since 2006, I have learned about the staffing industry by working in various positions. I started in Washington, DC as a Recruiter, and eventually worked my way up into an Account Manager position in a new office in New Jersey. At the time, I didn't have many clients, so I had to break into new ones the old fashioned way, with lots of cold calls, hard work, and networking. Eventually I broke into over 40 accounts, not by over-promising something I couldn't deliver, but by simply being honest and sincere.
I work hard for my clients and candidates. I understand I might not fill every position but I improve with every submission. If I do not provide quality work, I expect to lose your business to someone who will. When I submit a candidate, I put my name on the line. I eventually was promoted to run an office in Raleigh then Columbus, and finally here in Chicago where I would meet my wife and start our family.
I became the Vice President of training and development and then worked as a Regional Sales Manager to spend more time closer to home. I took on big and small challenges for several companies before I decided to start my own staffing firm. I focus on full time, direct hire placements across all industries. I consider this an honor and privilege to serve my clients and hope to work with you soon.
