Client Description:
Our client is an AM Top 100 law firm with 24 offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia.  Their Labor & Employment team represents local, national and multinational employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and nonprofits. They counsel employers in every aspect of the employer/employee relationship, including federal, state and international law compliance; traditional labor issues; internal investigations; federal contracting; and executive compensation.  

Position Description:
Our client is seeking a junior or mid-level Associate to join their L&E team in Chicago.  Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, and be able to demonstrate top-notch legal research, analysis and writing skills.  Candidates must be barred in Illinois.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of labor and employment law or commercial litigation experience obtained in a large law firm setting. 
  • Candidates should have experience litigating either employment, civil rights, or commercial matters in both state and federal courts. 
  • Experience with state and federal wage & hour and employment laws is preferred.
