Position Description:

Our client is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Real Estate Associate to join their Charleston office. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid background in commercial real estate law and a track record of successfully handling diverse real estate transactions and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, equity investments, leasing, development, and zoning matters.
• Advise developers, investors, and lenders on real property secured financings.
• Draft and negotiate agreements related to real estate transactions.
• Handle zoning appeals, property tax assessments, and workforce housing agreements.
• Provide counsel on ownership structures, joint ventures, and corporate governance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Strong expertise in real estate finance, zoning, entitlement, and land use.
• Experience with joint ventures and representation of developers, lenders, and institutional clients is preferred.
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar (or eligibility for admission).
