Position Description:
Our client is seeking a junior associate with 1-3 years of experience with commercial lending transactions, specifically on the lender-side. Experience may have been gained at a law firm, bank or finance company. Ideal candidates will have experience:
- representing lenders in secured and unsecured bank and private equity fund lending,
- advising banks, private equity funds and other financial institutions in documenting credit transactions and/or
- familiarity with UCC Article 9, mortgage law or property law.
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and be barred in Illinois or have the ability to waive into Illinois within a year of joining. The firm will consider candidates relocating from other jurisdictions.
