Position Description:
Our client seeks to hire a mid to senior level attorney to join its national Employee Benefits law practice. This is a great opportunity for a confident, self-motivated lawyer with a demonstrated ability to handle matters independently to build a practice in a collegial environment. Candidates should come from a national or regional law firm, have excellent work history and a strong educational background.
The idea candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in some or all of the following areas:
– Private, tax exempt and public (governmental) retirement plan experience (401(k); 403(b); 457(b)) and defined benefit plans
– M&A Benefits Support
– 409A and executive compensation
– Health and welfare plans and specific health plan laws (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
ERISA litigation
