Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney (2-7 years)

Salary Range: $200,000 – $275,000

Position Description:
Our client is seeking an Associate to joins its highly regarded Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on high-stakes and complex disputes. Applicants should have 2-7 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on insurance coverage litigation. Experience handling PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl substances) litigation or other environmental litigation matters is a plus as is clerkship experience.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience with the following:
- Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
- Drafting complex case evaluations, drafting pleadings, motions and other litigation documents
- Working on all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal where relevant
- Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
- Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel
- Analyzing insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, including drafting coverage opinions or other coverage analyses
