Labor & Employment Associate (2-4 yrs)
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd – 4th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Florham Park, New Jersey office. This Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from variety of industries across the country, in both litigation and counseling capacities.
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role, with a focus on litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment claims; experience advising employers on compliance issues relating to leaves of absence, performance management, wage and hour compliance, and terminations; and drafting personnel policies and employment agreements.
Qualified candidates will have solid academic performance in law school, strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability, desire and initiative to “take ownership” over work and career. Candidates must be in good standing with the NJ State Bar; NY admission also preferred.
