Position Description:
Our client’s growing Portland, Maine office seeks to hire an Associate with 3-5 years of employment and/or commercial litigation experience to join their leading Labor & Employment law firm.   

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 3-5 years of employment or complex commercial litigation experience; employment experience is preferred but candidates with substantial complex litigation experience who are eager to work within labor and employment law will also be considered.
  • experience drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and trials.
  • excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
