Position Description:
Our client is seeking a highly qualified 4th – 6th year litigation associate to join the Commercial Litigation group in the Orange County office. The ideal candidate has experience in both state and federal court, researching and writing, drafting and leading hearings and motions, taking depositions, and general litigation support. This team is positioned to grow and the Associate will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by a number of various partners in the Orange County office.
Their Dispute Resolution & Restructuring Department serves a wide variety of clients in connection with many exciting and challenging matters in a dynamic environment. The team is comprised of high performing, creative thinking trial lawyers. This position will provide an opportunity for greatly accelerated professional development, working directly with the senior members of the group, and require a desire to do the work necessary to capture that opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be barred in California, have outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comparable law firm and/or clerkship experience preferred.
- Qualified candidates will have experience conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, witness preparation, and taking/ defending depositions preferred.
