Position Description:
Our client is seeking multiple mid-level associates, ideally with 3-5 years of experience, to join their private funds formation team in either Chicago, New York, or Washington DC.  Our client’s practice has consistently grown over the last few years and the firm’s leadership is strategically investing in this practice to ensure it continues to grow and succeed.  Attorneys joining this practice will be joining a dynamic group of attorneys that is highly regarded in the industry and with its clients. 

Job Requirements:

• Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably gained in a large law firm setting, with hedge, private equity, credit, venture, and other investment funds in all aspects of fund formation, fund structuring and capital raising.
• Experience advising private fund managers on complex regulatory matters, including registration, examinations and reporting requirements is also beneficial.
• Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate exceptional client service and sound professional judgment.
• Candidates must be barred in Illinois, New York, or DC or have the ability to waive into one of these jurisdictions.
