Our client is an Am Law Firm with 6 locations and over 200 attorneys nationwide. The firm was founded with deep roots in real estate and has expanded to grow prominent practices across corporate, tax, and litigation, among others. They've grown their firm through a reputation for market leading solutions, pragmatism, exemplary quality, approachability, and their unparalleled network of contacts and connections in business and government.
Position Description:
Ou client is hiring multiple Associates in the Los Angeles Area and has offices both in downtown Los Angeles as well as Century City.
Ideal Candidates will Have:
- Knowledge of federal securities laws, rules and regulations.
- Broad range of experience with corporate transactions, including private offerings of equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.
- Experience representing venture capital, growth equity, or private equity firms in fund formations, as well as ongoing investment firm operations matters and compliance with the Investment Company Act, the Investment Advisers Act, the Securities Act, and other regulatory requirements, is preferred but not required.
- Experience with investment fund formation as well as relevant experience in the corporate group or investment group of a top-tier law firm.
- Experience drafting LLC agreements, LP agreements, and other related documentation.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates should be able to work in a team but also handle significant individual responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.
- Major law firm experience preferred.
- A high level of academic achievement.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
