Insurance Recovery Associate Attorney (4-6 yrs)
Permanent Placements seeks an Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in insurance coverage and insurance defense to join our international client’s insurance coverage litigation group in Miami.
This thriving practice represents insurers in high-stakes disputes, litigating coverage issues and defending insurers in bad faith disputes and insurance class actions, in matters involving general liability insurance, property and casualty insurance, directors’ and officers’ liability insurance, first party property, professional liability insurance, and life insurance.
What you’ll do:
- Draft and review pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
- Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties;
- Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required;
- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations for clients; and
- Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Admitted to practice in Florida;
- Experience, with commercial litigation or insurance coverage litigation.
