Real Estate Associate (2-4 yrs)
Permanent Placements is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Real Estate Associate with experience in commercial real estate transactions. Our Am 200 client's team handles complex, high-value transactions across the United States, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, financing, lending, and distressed situations involving a wide range of asset classes such as office, retail, industrial, life science, hospitality, mixed-use and multifamily properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with partners and other team members to manage complex commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing
- Draft, review, and negotiate various transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and financing documents
- Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related memoranda and advise clients on various legal issues related to commercial real estate transactions
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the transactions
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school (Class of 2021-2023)
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a reputable law firm
- Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of various asset classes in commercial real estate
- Familiarity with legal issues related to commercial real estate transactions
- Detail-oriented and organized
The expected salary range for this position is $215,000.00 – $260,000.00 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
